I would like to congratulate all students who successfully passed their recent gradings. The standards shown by all students was exceptional and all Instructors were pleased with the students efforts. Continue the great work.

Car Defense

We had a great Car Defense workshop. Subjects covered included attacks within the car, from outside the car, how to move around a car and defending against armed attacks. We had students travel from Sydney and Canberra, well done guys. Krav Maga Newcastle looks forward to our next workshop.

Car Defense Workshop

Krav Maga Newcastle will be holding a Car defense workshop. This workshop will have all students deal with threats and attacks from outside and within a car. Book early as there will be only 20 spots for this workshop. See Events and Seminars for details.

Kettlebell Course

On Saturday 13th Feb. Krav Maga Newcastle host Peter Jackson (IKMF Krav Maga Instructor and Kettlebell Instructor) for a basic kettlebell course for our students. All students reported that the workshop was very informative and they came away with both knowledge and a great workout.

Krav Maga Newcastle looks forward to hosting Peter and other guest Instructors in the future. Keep checking the website Events and Seminar section for future workshops.

Kettlebell Workshop

The first workshop for 2010 will be held on Saturday 13^th February 9am to 12noon at the Charlestown Training Centre. The focus on this workshop is Kettlebell Training. Kettlebell training is being used by many people to increase their strength, power and endurance. The cost of the workshop will be $80 which includes the purchase of your own kettlebell. Krav Maga

There will be a FREE Intro class at both training centres. New Lambton will hold its class on Wednesday 27^th January and Charlestown will be held on Thursday 28^th January. Numbers are limited, so please contact us if attending.

Start training today

Training for 2010 will commence on Monday 18^th January at 6pm at our New Lambton training centre and Tuesday 19^th January at 6pm for the Basic class and 7pm for the Intermediate class at our Charlestown training centre.

The other two specialised classes, Krav Maga Junior (5 to 12 year olds) will start back on Monady 1^st February and Womens only will start back on Tuesday 2^nd February, at the New Lambton training centre.

Krav Maga Newcastle would like to wish all past and current students a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year. All Instructors are looking forward to training students in the New Year when we start back.

Regular classes for adults will start back at New Lambton on Monday 18th January 2010 and at Charlestown on Tuesday 19th January 2010. Children classes will start back when school resumes. Future special events will posted early in the New Year.
