CQB Scenarios and Prevention Tactics
We will be holding the CQB training session on Friday 20th May this month. We will be covering preventative tactics in basic and advanced scenarios.
Eyal Yanilov - Chief Instructor KMG
Newcastle will be hosting a seminar conducted by our Instructor Eyal Yanilov, He is the Chief Instructor of Krav Maga Global. Krav Maga Newcastle have been given the privilege of hosting the 2011 GIC course this April. With this some classes will be changing locations. (See calendar for all changes)
We also have 4 students who are attending the course to become full Instructors. They are Jay Joseph, Mark Rees, Andrew Maker and Jed Wallace/ As you would already know, these students have been part of our Trainee Instructor Course since last year. We will be asking for students who are interested in becoming an Instructor to nominate themselves later in the year.
New Beginnings
From the 1st of April, we will becoming a Krav Maga Global training centre. KMG was created by my Instructor, Eyal Yanilov, to help spread Krav Maga around the world.
What does this mean for you? Basically nothing. We will still be providing quality training, which has been our main mission from the start.

Warrior Dash
Congratulations to all the students who competed in the Warrior Dash. All have a fun and muddy time.
We will be holding our next Basic Fighters course Phase 1 on the weekend of 26th and 27th March, 2011.
The FIGHTERS weekend will feature techniques, tactics, skills, ideas and principles to transform students into top fighters and warriors, able to function under extreme conditions in violent real-life situations. All areas of fighting will be covered from standing, ground and weapons. Contact us for more information.
Womens Seminar
A women’s self defense seminar will be held on Saturday 26th February from 2.00 to 4.00pm at our Adamstown Training Centre. This seminar will cover basic tactics and skills specifically for women. Cost is $40 for the seminar. Contact us to book a spot.
Beach Training
On Thursday 24th February we will be training at Redhead Beach. Both classes will meet at 6.00 pm at the Northern car park, near the club house.
Activities will include going into the water, so be prepared.
